Aaaaand, the grand total of this year's Trick-or-Treat campaign hosted by Valencia High School's UNICEF Club:

GREAT JOB EVERYBODY, I'm so so so proud of and grateful for you all! Give yourselves a pat on the back, you guys are seriously the best. :)

Now, here some extremely important reminders and announcements:

  • We only have two meetings left: there is one next week on Tuesday, December 9th, and our final meeting is on Monday, December 15th.
    • Guess what? Our final meeting is going to be a pizza party! There will be a $5 entrance fee (to cover the costs of the party), pizza, drinks, a raffle, and a photobooth! Bring your friends to have pizza during on the final full day of this semester! More info next week.
  • Next week on Wednesday, December 10th, the Student Task Force Club is hosting an assembly during sixth period in the theater in honor of National Human Rights Day. We will be talking all about UNICEF, and spreading the word about our pizza party. More info about how to sign up coming soon. It'll be a great way to advocate our club's mission, and you guys can miss your 6th period class........
  • We raised over fifty dollars through our Habit fundraiser. Great job guys!
  • Hour sheets are due on the final meeting day (day of the pizza party).
    • If you kept your receipt from the Habit fundraiser, please staple it to your hour sheet so that you can receive one hour for it.
    • Reminder that you can receive three hours (three boxes) through Trick-or-Treat for your NHS hour sheets, which you can get Mr. McKee to sign.
    • Another reminder that for those of you who are aiming to receive a PVSA, these are the hour requirements for one year.
  • T-shirts are available throughout the year (they're stored in Mr. McKee's room). Bring $10 to any meeting to buy one!
  • Again, we have a meeting next week on Tuesday, December 9th in room 516 (McKee). We will be giving you a couple announcements and reminders. Just two more meetings until the end of the semester, everyone!
